ECONorthwest was selected as the consultant to collect, assemble, and present data on skill development and related workforce resources, services and outcomes in the 10-county WIRED region. The goals of this project were to (1) identify regional workforce resources, their funding, focus, and outcomes; (2) promote resource and service alignment in a way that provides optimum benefit to regional job seekers and employers; and (3) meet the information needs of both the partnering local workforce investment boards and the Regional Workforce Council.
WIRED partners also contributed to an effort aimed at identifying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs and resources in the region. The work was contracted to Scruggs & Associates.
