A partnership of FCS Group and Michael Gallis & Associates was selected to prepare a competitiveness assessment for the WIRED region.  On 1/26/09, Michael Gallis and Todd Chase introduced the Regional Workforce Council to some of the concepts and data driving regional models of economic devleopment in the US and abroad.  Over the next several months, they identified appropriate competitiveness metrics and comparison regions, examined the long term potential of the region to meet anticipated workforce needs, and offered strategic recommendations for enhancing the global competitiveness of the region.
