WIRED partners understand that it is critically important to put systems in place that widen the pipeline of workers for high growth / high demand industries.  BizConnect engages the emerging workforce through career related learning experiences (CRLEs).  This initiative transformed the way that high school students access internships,  job shadows, and  related activities through a consistent regional model designed to increase opportunities for youth and minimize the burden on employers.  CRLE's are seen as a valuable tool for building the school-to-career connections that are essential to engaging youth in industry.
